Thirteen Mooresville Artist Guild
women responded to an invitation, sent out in September
of 2008 to paint each other. The results have been
inspiring. These thirteen women artists got together,
drew names from a hat and took on a project to produce a
portrait of the person whose name was drawn. Among the
artists are watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic painters;
photographers and a sculptor.
Some began portraits for the first time. Some are
artist teachers. All are active artists. The
experience has been refreshing, rewarding and
productive. MAG proudly presents these women:
